The Resort itself is set picture perfect, idyllically overlooking Ambleside with views of Loughrigg and Fairfield Horse Shoe.
After a full day of outdoor activities you can enjoy a nice sauna and steam in the private leisure centre or a nice swim in the indoor heated swimming pool to top of your day.
The Lake District offers scenic splendour along with boating, fishing, fell walking and climbing Archaeological and historic sites, castles, museums and art galleries.

This lovely apartment is situated in the Phase 3 part of the development on the middle floor & has a balcony which benefits from the afternoon and evening sun. It’s a wonderful spot for a cup of coffee – or a glass of wine later in the evening while you plan your next walk.
The balcony & the lounge & bedroom windows all offer superb views of the lovely town of Ambleside with the church spire claiming center stage as it is illuminated at night.
You can see Todd Crag opposite and the Fairfield Horseshoe walk beckons from the south. The apartment is situated at one end of the uniquely ‘A’ shaped building (the closest end to the reception area) and has no neighbours on one side.
It can be accessed by steps or from a lift which is on the same level as the car park where you have a designated car space….always a great bonus in Ambleside!
The accommodation offers a very high standard especially as it has recently undergone a full refurbishment including new furniture, soft furnishings, redecoration and a splendid new bathroom all ready for 2016.
We have paid three out of the four levy payments required for the improvements. The apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchen, sitting room and bathroom which has a very comfortable bath and a separate shower.
The bedroom has twin beds and a further very comfortable, double bed cleverly folds down within the dining area.
Week 12 falls in the last week of March when the daffodils are out in full bloom and the lambs are skipping around in the fells. A beautiful time of the year.
Ambleside offers an excellent selection of shops, cafes, restaurants, friendly pubs and the best cinema in the Lakes!
We often park the car and never use it during the week as so many walks are accessible from the door. The main bus station is just a few minutes’ walk away.
We have wonderful memories of our times here, and hope the new owners will enjoy making similar memories for themselves.
