Owners description

We first bought a 1 bedroom apartment in Monte Anfi in 1999 as it was by far the nicest place we had ever been on holiday and have been back almost every year since. We traded up to a 2 bedroom apartment fixed week in the summer holidays in 2005 after our third child was born and then bought an additional week in 2008. We have enjoyed going to Anfi for 14 of the last 16 years, only missing out once due to a family death and once to go to Disney. On both occasions we rented the apartments out and covered our maintenance fee.

The resort is exceptionally clean and safe and the kids have loved going back year after year due to the fantastic swimming pools and beach, the excellent child friendly restaurants, the kids clubs and daily activities, the entertainment and professional shows that are on every night in the plaza and that they always made many friends quickly and easily from like minded families. The fact that the kids have been so happy has always made it a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday for us and also extremely good value. Where else can you get five star accommodation and facilities for a large family for £500 per week (plus flights and food of course) with all the activities and entertainment included. We always bought breakfast and lunch things from the onsite supermarket and ate those in the apartment then had an evening meal out in one of the restaurants at the plaza to enjoy the entertainment.

The apartment is on the 10th floor, next door to a penthouse, has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds plus 2 bathrooms and a balcony with a fabulous view. The sofa converts into a very comfortable double bed that is very suitable for 2 children so the apartment comfortably sleeps 6. The apartment has all the facilities you need such as a Bosch oven, microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, juicer and plenty of space. What I really liked was that everything was high quality e.g. the beds are similar to those you find in an expensive business hotel so you are guaranteed comfort and rest. All the crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment you need (far more than we ever used) is provided plus all the little things you need but don't always expect such as tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher, tea bags, hairdryer, bottle opener are provided so you have less things to worry about taking. The apartment is cleaned 5 times per week and high speed wifi is included.
