Week 10 is normally the second week in March a lovely season to visit Scotland, and perfect for any keen golfers. The lodge itself sleeps up to six people with all the amenitie's you would have at home and more, thus ensuring a very relaxing vacation indeed. Owners description.

Lodge 71 is very nicely situated in the grounds of the hotel. It is a 5 minute walk to "Loch Lomond Shores", which has a very good Information Centre, the famous "Jenner's" store and a lovely viewing area of Loch Lomond with cafe's and shops. The Lodge itself is very spacious and luxurious - sauna included!!, which we found wonderful for a week’s relaxation. The veranda off the living room has wonderful views of the Mountains, loch and golf course. The golf course has discounted for Resort Ownerships and you can also use The Carrick facilities. The kitchen is very well equipped with high quality appliances. Plenty of literature on local and hotel events is provided. Necessities like bread, milk, newspapers etc, can be delivered daily at your request to the lodge also. The hotel has its own Seaplane moored on the grounds, which can be booked at the Reception for trips to the Mull of Kintyre and surrounding areas. We have found all the Staff extremely helpful and friendly. It's just a fabulous place to be...............
